Answers to common questions about this tool, image formats, and privacy.
Can I resize several images at once?
Yes. Choose up to 20 images and apply the same settings to all of them. With the aspect ratio locked, each image keeps its own proportions. Download each result separately or all successful results as a ZIP.
Will resizing change image quality?
Resizing changes the number of pixels. Reducing dimensions can remove fine detail, while enlarging a small image does not restore missing detail and may look blurry. JPG and WebP exports may also lose some quality when re-encoded; check the preview before downloading.
Can I keep the original aspect ratio?
With the lock on, changing one dimension calculates the other. Turn it off only when you deliberately want different proportions.
What is the largest size I can set?
Each side can be up to 8,000 pixels, with no more than 32 million pixels in total. For example, 8,000 × 4,000 is allowed, but 8,000 × 8,000 is not. The source file can be up to 25 MB.
What is the difference between resizing and compressing?
Resizing changes the width and height in pixels. Compression aims to reduce the file size in KB or MB. A smaller image may take less space, but a specific file size is not guaranteed. Use the image compressor if file size is your main concern.
Can I change the dimensions again without overwriting my original?
Yes. Change the dimensions and process again; each result is made from the selected original files. Downloads are separate copies. Choose images starts a new selection and clears the previous results.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Processing happens locally in your browser.
