1. Description of service

Pixilo provides free browser-based tools for image compression, resizing, cropping, format conversion, favicon generation and creating copies without source photo metadata. Supported formats and limits depend on the tool. Processing happens locally in your browser; our processing code does not upload your images to a conversion server. Keep your original and check the downloaded result.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site to:

• Process or attempt to process illegal content, including content that infringes others' intellectual property or depicts the exploitation of minors
• Attack, scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload the Site's infrastructure
• Circumvent any usage limits or security measures

3. Your content

You retain all rights to the images you process using the Site. Since processing happens locally in your browser, we never take possession of, or claim any rights to, your files. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to process and use the content.

4. Results and warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that compression or conversion results will meet your requirements, or that the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

Processing may change image quality, metadata or file size. Keep your original and check the downloaded result before replacing the original, publishing it or sending it to someone else.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of Pixilo shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site. This limitation does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded by law or restrict rights that cannot be limited by contract.

6. Partner advertising and external services

Pixilo displays clearly marked Elementor partner banners and may receive a commission for qualifying purchases made through partner links. External products and services have their own terms, prices and privacy practices. Check those terms before purchasing or using a service. Our Privacy Policy describes the partner banner requests.

7. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may change or discontinue the Site, or update these Terms to reflect changes to the service, legal requirements or security needs. The current Terms are published on this page with their last updated date. Revised Terms apply to use of the Site from their stated effective date. Where required by law, we will provide notice of changes or ask for your consent.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of Pixilo. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under mandatory law, including any applicable consumer protection rights.
